"Perfect place if you want to step back in time a hundred years to see how hotels were back then. Many historic details. Very clean and easy in/out. It's like a half hotel and half Vbro. No manned lobby, but room and service like hotel. There is a train track a block away and trains go through town during mid-evening. But didn't hear any after midnight. They really weren't a problem and actually fun to watch."

They've managed to remodel with modern conveniences, all while keeping the integrity and original beauty of this hotel at the forefront of every project. "Just spent the night here, it is one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel. Huge rooms very classy , big shower and separate bathtub ,never runs out of hot water. Very clean and lots of history. Very short walk to food and shopping. Its right across the street from the Amtrack station and we barely heard anything. I dont think you can beat this place!"
